The ideal candidate for our User-Experience Web Developer has experience in developing web sites with an understanding of and an interest in advances in client-side technologies.  He or she performs productively in a fast-paced work environment, is well organized, works well independently as well as in groups, and has strong communication skills.

Job Responsibilities:

·         Develop feature rich client side experiences through the full development lifecycle

·         Develop some of the site functionality, particularly animation and multi-media rich capabilities

·         Coordinating and receiving direction from multiple teams within the organization

Core Requirements:

• 4+ years hand-coding PHP,  CSS, JavaScript, SQL, and Flash Actionscript
• Required software and technical knowledge: Photoshop, HTML, Ajax, jQuery
• Preferred degree in computer science or experience in a related field
• Technical project management experience
• Extensive knowledge of information design and interaction design
• Portfolio demonstrating skill in web programming, layout, and workflow design

Desired:

·         Graphic & visual design experience, with emphasis on video and animation creation and production

·         Skilled in After Effects, Video Editing, Sound Editing, Illustrator skills, 3D animation

·         Familiarity with Search Engine Optimization (SEO) a plus
