We’re looking for an experienced Ruby on Rails developer to join our team. Someone passionate about crafting beautiful code, writing bulletproof tests, and building wonderfully simple applications that people love. A hungry entrepreneurial attitude is essential. 

The successful candidate will have:

• A solid Rails background with a passion for clean, well-tested code
• The ability to find elegant solutions to complex problems that will work on a large scale
• An eye for details and a love for taking the time to do things right
• An appreciation for iteration, fine-tuning, and finding and fixing issues
• Self motivation; ability to efficiently run with a project without close supervision

Requirements:

• 2 years production experience with Ruby on Rails, MySQL, and version control (we use Git)
• Solid understanding of HTML5 and CSS3
• Appreciation of web standards and cross-browser compatibility
• Personable, team player
• Strong written and verbal skills
• Dedication to deadlines
• Pride in your work and in that of your teammates
• Strong social-web interest

And a big gold star if you have these:

• Experience with e-commerce
• Experience with browser plugins
• Experience with mobile development
• Experience with third-party APIs (Facebook, Twitter, etc.)
• JQuery expertise
• Sense of humor
