  About the Job:

This is a full-time/contract/contract-to-hire position.  This Software Engineer will be responsible for creating both front-end web-based applications and supporting back-end modules.  The successful candidate is someone who enjoys software designing, coding and brainstorming effective and scalable business solutions.

  Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

·       participating in a small distributed team designing and developing in: ASP.Net MVC / C#, JavaScript, HTML, XML, Web Services, and SQL. (Product Requirement Documents will often be supplied and are encouraged to be modified according to any insightful technical solutions contributed by the candidate)

·       software development including: estimating, technical specifications, coding, source control and unit testing

·       designing and coding functional routines and modules in accordance to a software engineering specification (use case)

·       participating in: design brainstorming sessions, technical design reviews, formal code reviews, bug triage, and functional walkthroughs.

  Qualifications/Skills required:

·       3+ years experience with ASP.Net in C#, JavaScript, and AJAX required (MVC in ASP.Net a plus) 

·       3+ years of experience with strong skills using and writing queries in SQL

·       2+ years of Object Oriented Development experience

·       Knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture, SOAP, a plus

·       Results oriented working in a fast-paced environment

·       Self-motivated, quick learner with: initiative, confidence, and ability to deal with unexpected situations and/or last minute changes

·       Solid work ethic to deliver on high standards of excellence
