Lincoln Loop is looking for a UX Designer with visual design and front-end development chops. In this role you will work closely with developers, clients, and the Director of User Experience to design and build gorgeous designs and prototypes. This is a part-time position with potential to grow into a full-time opportunity.

Lincoln Loop is a consultancy specializing in designing, building, and deploying highly interactive web applications using the Django framework. Lincoln Loop's portfolio includes solutions for PBS, National Geographic, UCLA, Redbeacon, Nasuni, and numerous startups and ventures.

Requirements:

• You can produce professional design documentation across a range of deliverables and have a portfolio that shows it
• You have intermediate-to-advanced skills with Adobe Creative Suite
• You can self manage, put together a plan, communicate that plan, meet your deadlines, and know when to ask for help
• You are comfortable working with a distributed workforce
• You are quick and efficient in turning ideas into prototypes with HTML/CSS/JS (jQuery) and know the strengths and weaknesses of these technologies

Bonus Points:

• You aren't afraid of Git or other version control systems
• You know a little bit of Python or are familiar with Django
• You contribute to and believe in open source
• Recent Flash experience
• Experience designing for mobile or tablets

This job is location independent, but excellent English and the ability to work during business hours in the US are requirements.
