Surgeworks is an established company that specializes in rapid application development with Ruby on Rails, Magento, WordPress and now mobile development on the iPhone and Android platforms. Some of the best developers in the world are on our starteam and we're now hiring an experienced iPhone developer.  We're looking for:

• Demonstrable experience developing and distributing iPhone/iPad apps with standard and custom UI components (please provide portfolio and code samples for review)
• Knowledge of web architecture, UI (HTML, CSS and JavaScript) and services (REST/JSON/API/XML) and when to apply these technologies versus app technologies
• An eye for excellent design, good user experience and a passion for software quality
• Strong understanding of object-oriented software, design patterns and fundamentals of software design, planning and testing
• Good communication and analytical skills, expect daily communication with clients and project manager
• Excellent estimation skills, paired with an ability to work with a team and the client to reduce cost by streamlining features
• Experience building non-trivial graphics and visualizations
• Insane drive to test your own work and fix bugs before others catch them
• Ability to work 30+ hours a week and interested in taking on additional projects in the future
• Interest or experience with Android a big plus
