We are a start-up company (based out of Seattle/Amsterdam/Medellin) looking for a state-of-the-art and passionate developer for our web community, for long-term involvement from scratch. More details on the product/service after first contact.We are looking for someone with:

1. Shown track-record building complex websites, preferably experience with communities/social networks. Up to date with latest technologies. At least 3+ years experience with RoR development and other relevant languages / frameworks.*)

2. Strategic thinker, able think ahead of the rest, and come op with innovative and smart solutions. Willingness to think lateral and progressive.

3. Shown capacity to participate in major and ongoing development projects, experience with working in teams (in close cooperation with product manager and designer) and coordinate / delegate if necessary. Proficient in English.

4. Fulltime commitment as of March 2012, or at least defined hours and dedication as principal project.

5. Ability to work very independent and be 100% motivated.

6. Preferably based in Colombia because of time-zones, preferably in Medellin, as to have regular live meetings with Manager Product Development

*) At this point we think our site is best to be developed in RoR, but we will make our final choice in close consultation with the developer
