Position: Web Developer w/ strong Design Skills

General Responsibilities: Design, Develop and modify websites and email campaigns

Location: Can work anywhere, but occastional on-site/in-person would be great (Menlo Park, CA)

Status: Freelance

Starts: TBD Rate: Negotiable based on experience (can discuss per job or hourly)

Description:Are you one of those unique individuals who understands both DESIGN and TECHNICAL aspects of creating great websites' Our branding and design studio is looking for a hands-on Web Developer with strong visual/design sense to help us create UNIQUE & CUSTOM websites for our clients.

Our ideal candidate can wear multiple hats and adhere to tight schedules. You will be working directly with the Principals/Creative Director of the company and will have the opportunity to make an impact. We are always looking for ways to get better and hope you may be able to help.

Requirements  & Preferences

• Bachelors degree, and 3+ years as a designer/developer
• Excellent verbal communication
• Create custom websites start to finish ((X)HTML, CSS, Javascript, Wordpress, HTML emails, etc.)
• Understanding of cross platform and cross browser compatibility issues (including mobile) and basic understanding of SEO and analytics
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
• Ability to work with flexibility, efficiency, enthusiasm, and diplomacy
• Up to speed on the latest in web and digital technology
• Accomplished in both web and print design preferred
• Ability to communicate the value of what’s created

We are looking for a dynamic, creative and reliable individual to help us grow and handle some of our existing client load. Freelance/contract for now but may explore other options as work load progresses.
