At Auxiliary Design Co., we build digital experiences that pull their weight. Whether it's a website, an app, or something awesomely top-secret, our clients rely on us to get them there. We're their behind-the-scenes reserve of strategic vision and design skill, paired with a healthy dose of good old-fashioned elbow grease when it counts.

The Job

We're looking for a talented UI designer who believes that our work should be better than what was asked of us. Someone who lives and breathes the web, and believes that knowing how to write code is essential to being a great designer.

We're looking for a freelancer interested dedicating part of their schedule to help us build beautiful things. We're expecting it will be about 10-20 hours a week initially. This is a job that could turn into a full-time position down the road for the right person, so we're really looking to make sure we find someone who is a great fit.

You Should Have

• 1-2 years of real-world experience
• A portfolio of digital UI design that showcases both traditional and mobile work
• A mastery of Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator & Photoshop
• Ability to work remotely with a small collaborative team
• Amazing time-management skills
• Ability to articulate design decisions clearly
• a working knowledge of HTML5 & CSS3

You Can Be

Located anywhere, as long as you're available to meet via Skype a few times throughout the week.
