PolicyMic: Front-end developer
(New York, NY) PolicyMic.com is looking for a creative and passionate front-end developer with a good eye for design to join our small angel-backed New York City team.
PolicyMic is the first fully democratic media outlet. We are the fastest growing news outlet for the under 30 demographic.
The PolicyMic front-end developer will perfect the design of the existing site and lead the design/development of new products (we have an awesome line-up!). Here's who we're looking for:
- 3+ years professional experience in HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Some experience with dynamic components such as AJAX / jQuery
- Good eye for usability and strong UI design skills
- Photoshop / Illustrator experience
- Unique vision and style that friends can pick out from miles away
- Passionate about news & politics
