About the Graphic Designer Role

• AppDirect is seeking a well-rounded, problem solving designer who is able to apply his/her abilities to many different outputs: web/UI design, print, identity, presentations, motion, etc.
• You must have a strong understanding of and demonstrated aptitude for design principles.
• Collaborate and iterate with multi-disciplinary team to execute on overall project objectives.
• Ability to see projects through from conception to execution.
• Ability to effectively articulate design concepts (verbal and written).
• Understanding and affinity for developing brand/identity direction and ensuring brand consistency.

About You

• Creative by nature, amazing ability to conceptualize and collaborate to create fresh, meaningful design.
• You have a strong understanding of the important role design plays in the world beyond aesthetics.
• Expert experience in CS5/6 - Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
• Experience sending print projects to production.
• Identity/branding experience.
• Excellent knowledge of typography.
• Have 3-5 years experience in a graphic design role within an ad agency, design firm, or technology company.
• Extreme attention to detail and no-compromise attitude towards quality.
• Working knowledge of web development and coding practices.
• Expert time management skills.
