Stone Ward is seeking a highly motivated web developer to join our small team in Chicago’s River North area.

Be a part of a smart, tightly integrated group working across a variety of digital channels. The ideal candidate will enjoy solving problems and should be able to work both collaboratively and autonomously; we’re looking for someone that is truly passionate about learning the latest web technologies and creating compelling on-line experiences.

Desired Skills & Experience

Required:

• Minimum 2 years work creating content management systems and web applications

• Expert level knowledge of HTML/CSS

• Proficiency with Javascript and jQuery framework

• Highly proficient with PHP

• Familiarity with relational database concepts

• Specific experience with WordPress and/or Drupal

Bonus points for the following skills:

• Experience with various application frameworks such as CodeIgniter, Symfony, etc.

• Experience with web development for mobile devices.

• System administrator experience with a GNU/Linux based web hosting environment.
