Agency start-up seeks brilliant digital designer

Architect is a London-based agency that’s just been acquired by GolinHarris International, part of the Interpublic Group, a global communications network.   One of the teamhas moved out to San Francisco and is building Architect from the ground up.   (The business is currently undergoing a name change from FUSE Ltd – you can find out more about the agency at fuse.co.uk).

We have an awesome lead developer and now we’re looking for the third member of the A-Team.   Like BA Baracas. 

We’re looking for an inspirational cross-platform designer with enthusiasm and dynamism, who has the drive to build a development team beneath them as we grow.The right person needs to thrive getting their hands on the varied development projects on the horizon – both the really innovative projects (for example building a world-leading educational web platform) and the day to day work of Facebook applications.

Although based in SF, it may require very occasional travel to client offices in California and within the first year of any full-time employee, to our office in London to meet the full Architect team there.

Qualifications

• Must work closely with web developers to design elegant, progressive software.
• Must have an understanding of information architecture
• Understanding of grid systems and responsive design
• 3+ years in designing web experiences
• Knowledge of html and css
• Superior knowledge of the Adobe creative suite (and a real nice to have if you have some experience of Flash)
• Strong typography skills
• Experience with Infographics
