We are looking a talented and passionate Back-End Developer to join our Interactive Team. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments where no two days are the same; experience within an agency setting is a plus. 

Our in-house developers and designers translate solution oriented strategies into cutting-edge websites, applications and interactive solutions for Fortune 100 clients – including companies like IBM and Google.

In this role, you’ll be called on to:

• Design, implement, and maintain web application and infrastructure components.
• Generate innovative ideas for our processes and clients.
• Solve complex scalability, platform, and integration problems.
• Refactor and improve maintainability of the codebase.
• Collaborate with our Account Executives and Project Managers, in addition to fellow Developers, Designers, and QA Testers.
• Learn new paradigms, languages, and libraries as you work.

Our Back-End Developer must have experience with:

• Object-oriented and service-oriented programming paradigms.
• Building and designing databases; familiarity with MySQL.
• Version control (we use Git).
• PHP, Python or Ruby.
• Working in a Linux and Macintosh environment.

• Effective time management and multitasking skills.
• An ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A positive and enthusiastic attitude, with a great sense of humor.
• 5+ years of development experience and a Bachelor’s Degree.

We’ll give you bonus points for having experience with:

• Large-scale web applications and infrastructure.
• Front-end development: W3C Compliant XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery.
• Java and C#.
• Mentoring junior developers.
