| Product Description |
| There is nothing like a tall glass of homemade lemonade on a hot day or fresh squeezed orange juice for breakfast. Sound enticing? Then be sure to get this Citrus Juicer for your KitchenAid food processor to juice everything from limes to grapefruits. Works by attaching to the center prong and features a deep bowl for extracting several cups of juice at a time. It is quick and easy, and when you are done, you can throw the attachment in the dishwasher. Works with 9 and 11-cup models, KFP500, KFP600, KFP650, KFP670 and KFP690 |
| Customer Reviews: Average Rating: 3.5/5 | | Does not fit ALL 12-cup food processors: Rating: 2/5 |
The product arrived promptly and I bought it at the same time I bought the Kitchenaid KFPM770, which is a wide-mouth 12 cup processor. Well, this does not fit. To Amazon's credit, it does not list my model in the product feature as it only list the 500 & 600 series processors. But in the feature line it said it was compatible with 12 cup processors, so I assumed that the processor I ordered was just a newer model not yet listed. So, my advice is if your model is not specifically listed, don't expect it to work.
Luckily, Amazon has a return policy which allowed me to return the item at no charge. That makes it worth the trouble of at least trying it out.
Also, as it turns out, the 770 comes with a juicer attachment. It is not listed as an attachment on Amazon but it was there. The attachment is similiar in looks but was not easy to use, it spins too fast and throws juice around. The hinged cover makes working this a chore. I ended up buying a small black and decker stand alone juicer which works well. |

| Excellent juicer. Concentrate when you are using it so you won't bruise your fingertips. |
| | Works fine, but be careful: Rating: 5/5 |
The citrus juicer is excellent -- quick and efficient, although it does allow just a little pulp to come through. Be sure to place the fruit evenly on the cone.
My citrus press came with my 11-cup food processor and it came with a lever arm that protects your fingers. Occasionally, I use mine without the arm and sometimes I hurt my fingers, sometimes not. You have to be careful and pay attention to what you are doing. This beats a separate appliance any day and it is dishwasher safe.
If you buy the attahcment from the Kitchenaid site, you have a choice in buying one with or without the lever arm. The lever arm is $10 more, but I think it is worth it. |
| | Love It!!!: Rating: 5/5 |
| After reading all the negative reviews I had serious doubts about buying this juicer but I did it anyways. I think it's wonderful. I didn't have any of the problems that were stated in other reviews. I simply cut my lemons in half and pulsed the food processor and in no time I had enough juice. I didn't hit the reamer with my fingers at all. Highly recommended!!! |
| | Use according to instructions!: Rating: 3/5 |
| I had read a number of negative reviews about this product that had me a little concerned. I bought it anyway. My advice is: follow the instructions that come with the device if you do not want to get your fingers caught on the reamer. When preparing the fruit, be sure to only cut off the tip and do not try to cut the fruit in half. You also need to maintain a firm grasp on the fruit as you are pressing it over the reamer. When I did this, the juicer not only worked well, but I also got a 'fruit cup' from the shell that I was able to fill with ice cream and serve! |
