not deep enough for liquids: Rating: 3/5
This is a great little food processor. it chops up garlic and onions and grinds coffee better than anything i've seen but every year we grow tomatoes and can sauces made from them. the stem port in the center of the bowl is only about an inch high. that's it. you can only do an inch worth of liquid in this thing at a time. i'm keeping it because i've never seen a food processor work so well with the dry items, but i'll probably get something else to do the huge batches of tomatoes i have to do every year.

Own it: Rating: 4/5
Great design and very functional for getting the food in and the processed food out. Only thing is that it doesn't have variable speeds. Pulse on to chop or blend but watch out as it can reduce to puree if not careful. Very powerful and not too noisy.

B.S. on free shipping, cost $14.99: Rating: 2/5
when I finished my order they gave me a final price. Then when I opened up my email they charged me shipping for each and every item. If you click on the green Free Super Saver Shipping Restrictions Apply you will see that their is no free shipping or no way of knowing untill after they charge you.

Virtually Shatter-proof bowl cracks badly: Rating: 2/5
I love the motor on this processor. The disks work beautifully. It's quick and pretty quiet.
But, I have had 2 bowls in the past 2 years, and both have cracked badly, and the plastic parts that are supposed to lock the top and the bottom together break, so that when you turn on the food processor with any amount of liquid at all (1/2 cup for instance), the liquid flies all over the kitchen. I have been so frustrated cleaning up beaten eggs, tuna juice, soup, and every imaginable liquid from all surrounding items, including (always) my clothes.
Granted, I use this item every day, as I have a child with a disability that demands that all food be ground before she can eat it (and a blender does not provide the needed consistancy. So, I'm a hard user of a food processor. I absolutely depend upon it. I also can't afford to purchase a new food bowl (at 1/3 to 1/2 of the cost of the processor) when the bowl cracks (which I estimate would happen once a month, if not more frequently.)I have to put up with what I've got.
I have learned that if I put only dryish ingredients in, and begin to process it, and then slowly add water, juice or milk, it will not slosh the ingredients toward my shirt, wall, and surrounding counter and floor. However, if I am in a rush, wanting to ear my dinner before it gets cold, for instance, and think I can get by with just a little liquid, or if I want to process some stew or anything of that consistancy, you can be sure I am going to have it all over me and the kitchen.
So, I am frustrated. I wish they had a virtually shatter-proof bowl, truly. But this isn't it.

7 cup Quisinart food processor.: Rating: 4/5
I searched many websites for the best quality and price for a 7 cup stainless steel food processor. Not finding a stainless steel one that size, I purchased Cuisinart's white one. Great quality and function.
