I bought these speakers for a computer system I was building about two years ago, and I was pleasantly surprised by the sound. They're not the highest quality speakers in the world but, for the price, they get the job done. They gets decent bass from the subwoofer, and good sound overall (though the sound quality has deteriorated a bit over time - I'm looking to upgrade them now). My one big complaint about these speakers is that they seem to pick up a LOT of interference from cell phones, which can be annoying.
Overall, I give these speakers 4 stars. They have their limitations, but you really can't beat them at this price. |

| Subwoofer Stopped Working: Rating: 1/5 |
| Initially, I was impressed with sound for such inexpensive speakers. But, after only a few months the subwoofer and front LED light both stopped working. They sound terrible without a subwoofer -- like fingernails scratching a chalkboard. Now I'll have to spend more money to get something reliable. Don't get suckered by this speakers, they are no more than a trinket. |

Went looking for an affordable set of computer speakers & found this one on sale at Office Depot for around fifteen bucks. The base of my speakers is slightly different, but it's the same model #. Sound is fabulous & I'm getting used to the subwoofer (sometimes it gives the impression of coming from outside my apartment!).
Even at full price I would be happy. Perhaps if you're looking for a professional set you may find issues, but for my ears (& the price) there's nothing better, & I'm yet to try them at full volume. Now movies played on my computer really dazzle. |

| For the price, these can't be beat. Obviously, they are not a top-end system. However, for less than a tank of gas, you'll have a computer speaker system that will last for years. |
