I've only used it 5 times or so, but its great on both hardwood floor and carpet.
I'm lazy, and I don't enjoy vacuuming, but this product makes me want to at least think about it. |

I purchased this as a replacement to the similar Hoover non-powered nozzle model. The power nozzle of this model is, from what I can tell the only difference between the two models and is a slight improvement. I find this vacuum is perfect for use on hard floors with room rugs and the power nozzel has come in handy for quick cleaning of carpeted stairs.
It was a bit tricky to attach the power nozzle to the vacuum out of the box and I fear that becuase both vacuums have the same cup filter which tends to wear out if you are diligent in cleaning it as I am. All in all, I would still recommend this product. It is a great vacuum at a great price. |

I read the reviews as most people did and saw that there were mixed feelings. I do think that the people that gave it lower ratings either 1) got the an early version, which apparently wasn't very well designed/built or 2) were using it for more than it is designed (i.e. large carpeted expanses.
This vacuum works great for cleaning up cat food and litter off of my kitchen floor. One thing that I hadn't seen in any reviews was the way that the head is designed. It works great up against walls/baseboard because it actually sucks from the front of the head (in addition to the bottom), so stuff doesn't just get pushed up against the wall/baseboard. |

This was a "gift" to my wife for mother's day. I was a little hesitant to give her a vacuum for mother's day but I knew she wanted something to help keep our tile floors swept. The first day after giving it to her she called me at work and asked if I'd be ok if she had found a new first love in life. She liked the vacuum that much! (And I had been redeemed from giving such a tacky gift on Mother's day).
It is efficient at cleaning all the crumbs, food, and various other objects that fall on our tile floor. We have 4 little kids and it definately has its work cut out. It also does a decent job at quick clean up on the carpets.
After 6 months of problem free use it works as well as it did on day 1. The only very minor complaint is that it doesn't stand up well when you are storing it. It has a tendency to tip. However, we just keep it in the corner between our washing machine and a wall and seems to alleviate that minor inconvienience.
I would whole heartedly recommend this little workhorse to anyone needing a small, lightwieght vacuum for daily cleaning of Tile and a backup for carpet. Much more powerfull than the cordless vacs out there, and well built for repeated daily use. Very long cord is nice too. |

| We ordered this stick vacuum to replace an old Hoover stick vacuum, but the S2220 Flair had so much drag when using it on vinyl or tile floors, that my wife could not comfortably use it. |
