Bought a couple more of these. We use them for tech suport over the phone with a headset. Works like a charm and our developer is picky so it meets his needs...

I wanted to disagree with the other reviewers on this headset. Maybe I just got a good one, but the one I've had for the last 4 years has been one of the most reliable and best headsets I've ever used. I know other people who in that same time have used and destroyed 8 other headsets (average of 2 per year) and mine still works as well as the day I bought it.
I use it at least 2 hours a day with a Panasonic cordless phone (a coincidence, I had been using Jensen headsets before I bought this one). During this time, I've dropped the phone so many times I've stopped counting, each time resulting in the headset being yanked out of the phone.
Are there issues, yes. It's a bit too quiet for my tastes and I could see how it would be a bit hard to adjust for height. I'm lucky, the boom hits in just the right place and no one has ever complained. |

| As I usually talk while I cook, I have always used an ear piece. However, I was very disappointed with the panasonic KX-TCA93 headset I purchased for my new uniden phone. It does not fit comfortably over my ear and the volume is very low unless I press the headset close to my ear. I really miss "chatting" while I cook! |

The sound quality is more than adequate.
They are so lightweight that I'm afraid I'm going to break it sometimes. Well, actually, I broke the mic arm off one of them before I realized that they couldn't be adjusted (bent). A little superglue and it was fine. Still, they won't hold up for very long without being careful and not letting your teensagers use them. |

| When I hooked the headset over my ear, I heard the snap of one of the components breaking. I wrote to the supplier explaining the problem, asking for a refund, and offering to return the product if they would send an address. The vendor wrote back promptly stating that they would charge us a restocking fee (so they must plan on sending this broken unit out to someone else?) and saying that we must return it with no damaged parts before they would consider refunding the money. Clearly they had not read our complaint at all. We wrote back saying that was an unsatisfactory solution and asking for an better solution from them. That was over a week ago, and we have not heard back from them. Very very bad service! |
