nice mop: Rating: 5/5
This is a very nice mop, my textured tile floors are much cleaner. I like this mop for several reasons; it uses no chemicals, pads are easy to clean, and it is effortless to use. The only con is that the cord is not long enough, and that is easily solved using an extension cord. |

This steam mop works like a charm. And I agree with other reviews that said the only thing you need to be careful with is holding the steam button down too long because it wets the floor too much. Once you get the hang of it that's not a problem. As usual, you can't beat products with the Good Housekeeping Seal.

Bissell Steam Mop: Rating: 1/5
Cord is too short - constantly re-plugging. Falls over easily. Difficult to keep steam button pressed. I gave it away after only using it one time.

Messy: Rating: 2/5
I am soo dissapointed with this product. I had reviewed it just to make sure that it was the right one for me. Great idea however I had to use my regular mop to clean up after the bissell. It was very messy..left water everywhere...I tried not to let out too much water...but it just didn't matter. I was kinda upset because I love the company. I am just going to save up and get one that is better.

I purchased this item to clean vinyl floors that seemed to have dirt stuck in the grooves that an ordinary mop couldn't remove. While it did remove a lot of dirt, it didn't clean the floors completely. The manufacturer does say that it won't work well if wax has been applied, and that could have been the reason. I wound up using TSP and that got the floors almost completely clean. I also used the Bissell on the cedar floor in the master BR closet. It did pick up a lot of dirt in this case and also picked up some dirt on my mother's vinyl floor that she's never waxed, so overall I'd have to rate this product with a "B."
