The Definitive Collection Continues!!

Season Four contains the complete Garlic Jr., Trunks and Android sagas on 6 discs.

Having returned victorious from their battle with Frieza, the Z-fighters can at last breathe a collective sigh of relief… But they won’t have long to rest. A new host of villains has appeared, ready to wreak havoc on the Earth—and Goku, the Z-Fighters’ greatest hero is still missing!

In the face of these new dangers, a mysterious youth with Super Saiyan powers has come bearing a bleak prediction for the future: in just three years’ time, an evil greater than any the Z-Fighters have ever faced will emerge to cast a shadow of destruction and despair over the Earth. And if the young Saiyan’s prediction is correct, the Z-Fighters will have to train like they have never trained before in order to have any hope against these seemingly unstoppable foes—the Androids!

DBZ is TOP ANIME EVER!: Rating: 4/5

Awesome!: Rating: 5/5
If you're a DBZ fan, you'll want this in your collection. It was so painful to wait for these episode to come on TV & restart countless times. I'm so glad I can watch these back-to-back when I get a DBZ itch now =).

The Greatest Collection of the Greatest Anime: Rating: 5/5
Dragonball Z is famous across the globe, most noted for being one of the all time most popular anime series ever created. The show does an excellent job of staying true to the mangas, with few name changes and plot adjustments. This collection happens to be my personal favorite collection of all of the available ones to choose from. Why? It's because of the interesting sagas that it contains.

The Garlic Jr Saga is a great series of episodes that is highly overlooked. Garlic has returned from his "Dead Zone" imprisonment. He now seeks revenge on the earthlings, and will stop at nothing to continue his attack on Piccolo and Kami for the death of his father. Armed with new henchmen and still gifted with immortality, it seems as if Garlic Jr is unstoppable. The fight between Gohan, Krillin, Piccolo and Garlic Jr is one of the most action packed ones ever placed within the anime. The plot is great, and the show does a great job of keeping the viewer enticed and engaged through the many surprising twists hidden within this saga.

The second Saga that this collection contains is one of the most popular sagas of the show, the Trunks Saga. The Trunks Saga marks the arrival of Trunks and the announcement of the impending doom of the entire planet. The addition of this saga marked a new chapter in the Dragonball Z universe. It was once viewed "impossible" to become a Super Saiyan, but as this saga proves, Super Saiyan is no longer a feet unachievable by Saiyans. With the introduction of this saga, power levels increase and enemies once viewed as formidable are no longer so. Once viewed as the strongest being in the universe, Frieza arrives on Earth seeking revenge for his near-death experience that was handed to him on Namek by Goku. Frieza knows that Goku is going to arrive late, so he intends to have some fun with the planet's inhabitants before Goku arrives. Little did he know that another Super Saiyan exists. Trunks quickly dispatches the villain and his father in a matter of seconds. He then goes on to reveal the future that will come to pass, a future where everyone on Earth has been killed by a pair of diabolical androids/cyborgs.

This is a nice little DVD collection. It comes in a nicely sized box with a folding DVD case. The collection pack comes with six DVDs containing remastered footage from the anime. The quality of the images has been touched up, but it also contains image cropping. The sound is better, a much sharper, cleaner quality, but the volume level could use some work, seeing as the actual episodes are more quiet than the rest of the DVD contents. This collection is simply amazing in every way conceivable. A perfect season to purchase if you're a DBZ fan.

one color to a master portrait: Rating: 5/5
Season four of the dragon ball z series countinues with action. I am not a huge fan of the garlic jr. saga, or even the dead zone movie, but once you get past garlic jr. it is filled with mystery, suspense and gives you the anticipation to buy season five, not my favorite seasons, but is a part of a masterpeice, dragon ball z as a whole was the best action show while i was growing up, the music and dub were the same as when i was watching when i was growing up and watching trunks conquer what i thought goku had takes me back to the days.

Season 4 Review (NO SPOILER!!!!): Rating: 5/5
This is a great season! I don't like the Garlic Junior part, so 1 star for GJ, 5 stars for the rest!

Here are some nonspoiler thing that will go on in this season!

Oh come on! Not again!
Wow, did he just do that!?
Who are you!?
He can't be a good guy...can he?
Stronger than a Super Saiyan!??!!
May 12, 10am, southwest of south city!!!??
No way!! Bulma!!?

Haha, that's all I can say to make you hyper, unless you want spoilers....However, some of DB/Z/GT believe in Evolution (like the myth of humans evolving from monkeys) that is my only disagreement since evolution is not true! God made everything according to its kind.

-The thing I love the MOST about DB/Z/GT is that it is like a Christian show!!
Goku is the one who always leads everyone the correct way, He is the savior of the world! (Symbolic to God leading us the right way & being our Savior!)

Goku trains & helps his friends to become good fighters (Symbolic to God "training" us in His Word)

Goku trusts in his friends knowing they will do the right thing. (Symbolic to God trusting that His true followers will obey Him & go His way)

Goku always shows love & mercy even to his enemies & evil people. (Symbolic to God showing all us people, whom have broken His Perfect Law -The Ten Commandments- and yet He still gives us Mercy to flee from sin & follow Him)

Goku believes anyone can change their life from bad, to good. (Symbolic to fleeing from our sins & following the Will of God)

Goku was like a father, always protecting people from evil (Symbolic to how God protects us from evil & when the storms comes, He's still with us)

Everytime it seems hopeless & like evil will prevail & there is no way out, Goku is always there to help! (Symbolic to no matter how strong the temptation or urge is, God always provides a way out for us because He is with us)

When the Saiyans or other fighters feel like there is no hope, they go into a new level of strength (Symbolic to when you are weakest you are strongest)

Like with us when we feel we can't resist the temptation or do the Will of God, we still press on and reach a new level or strength.....haha, like a Spiritual Super Saiyan, being much stronger into & with God then we were before.

When the fighters are fighting & they feel there is no hope, someone else usually comes to the aid (Symbolic to God will never leave us & He always provides help)

DBZ is not only a great show but I look at it through a Christian sense, look at it as a Christian sense, it's symbolic, it'll make it 10x better! I know it did for me!
