Give hardwood floors a Bona: Rating: 5/5
I absolutely love, love, love this stuff. I have a bamboo floor in 2/3 of my house and this makes it so easy to keep it clean and shiny. I use a terrycloth mop with it and it cleans up everything, including toddler-deposited caramel and chocolate. The 32 oz bottle goes a really long way, too. I have completely cleaned my floor twice with this one bottle, and am just now buying more. I probably have enough for one more cleaning (700 square feet total!), but I don't want to run out. This stuff is amazing!

No Fuss! Cleans Floors Beautifully Without Leaving Smells or Residue.: Rating: 5/5
This is a "No-Fuss" product. Use it and get on with your life. It just works.
I want the floors clean without having to be aware of the product that made them clean.
It was recommended by the owner of the hardwood floor company that installed my hardwood floors and I've been using it ever since. I have allergies and a sensitive nose and I've noticed it doesn't have a strong odor. In fact, I don't know that I've ever been aware of any odor at all. That's important to me because I want a product to do its work and get out of my way.
I am rough on my floors since I have had 2 dogs and some dog-related challenges. I kept the Bona handy to use for 'emergencies' between floor cleaning by my housekeeper. It seems to keep the floors in good shape. I plan to continue using it. |

Terrible product: Rating: 1/5
Have been using Bona floor cleaner to clean my bamboo floors for a few weeks - leaves a sticky residue which leaves footprint marks the length of it AND creates a "stick, pull, stick, pull" sound with each step. No shine properties either - very dull. Terrible stuff. I'm not suzy housemaker but will tell you that this is way more work than it's worth - headed to the dumpster now!

Very average----minimal improvement, if that: Rating: 2/5
Save your money....or get something else. This product, the spray bottle, at least, makes little if any, and only the most minimal, improvement. Not worth the money. The spray trigger, is useless as very little product comes out--or perhaps the trigger on the bottle I have is broken. I had to open the product and pour it out to use it. In any case, I do not recommend this product. I see the most basic, mimimal improvement in the luster of my wood flooring. What a waste. I just hate being ripped off. Don't let it happen to you.

Glass Plus Works Better: Rating: 3/5
My flooring installer recommended Glass Plus without ammonia to clean my polyurethane finished wooden floors. It works great without streaking, but has been hard to find. Most glass cleaners contain ammonia, which will darken the finish of wood floors. So I tried Bona X. It is much more expensive and leaves streaks unless dry mopped immediately after applying.
