Great phone but...: Rating: 4/5
Please read previous reviews. It still needs to be sent back to the manufacturer to get the updated firmware so that there is no dropping of calls when another cell phone is in the vicinity.

Otherwise, really nice phone.

Unpleasant glitches: Rating: 3/5
The phone does much of what was promised, but there are two important glitches. The most significant is no improvement in range over our previous 2.4 Gz phone. And one of the main reasons for buying the DECT version was to obtain greater range. The other glitch is that sometimes, at least one of the handsets emits a continuous ring sound when it receives an incoming call. That is, the sound is constant without any interruptions. I don't use many of the features and can't comment on much other than to say it works the way a cordless phone should (excepting the above glitches).

Panasonic KX-TGA939T - Very poor phone: Rating: 1/5
I purchased 6 of these wireless phones to use with the matching Panasonic KX-TG9392T desk/speakerphone. I am very unhappy with my purchase. The phones will work intermittently for anywhere from 10 minutes to 30 minutes and then they die and you lose the connection. The problem still occurs even after replacing all batteries. The problem occurs even when you stay very close to their cradle and the main desk phone, so it does not appear to be a range issue. I contacted Panasonic customer service and never heard back from them or could get through to anyone. Don't purchase these phones. They are worthless. I will never buy Panasonic phones again. Very disappointing and a big waste of money.

Surprise: Rating: 1/5
I researched this product thoroughly and was convinced it was among the best on the market. I am replacing an older Siemens Gigaset 8800. I thought for sure the DECT 6.0 would offer the clearest sound with a very good signal. It didn't take long for me to be surprised when these phones would go into periodic garbled mode. There was no consistency to the sound degradation; it seemed to happen with different handsets and in various locations around my home. I need an updated phone since Siemens doesn't seem to have very good offerings these days. unfortunately , it won't be this phone.

Panasonic DECT 6.0 Black Digital Cordless Extra Handset for TG9390 Series Phones (KX-TGA939T): Rating: 4/5
very clear reception. base unit would benefit from key backlighting. Phone book entries are also somewhat cumbersome. Inability to tag name the handsets is also an annoyance
