Limited Edition 2-Disc set featuring the music that inspired MICHAEL JACKSON'S THIS IS IT, a deluxe 36-page booklet and souvenir movie poster.

Disc one features the original album masters of some of Michael's biggest hits arranged in the same sequence as they appear in the film. The disc ends with two versions of the never-released "This Is It." This song is featured in the film's closing sequence and includes backing vocals by Michael's brothers, the Jacksons.

Disc two offers previously unreleased versions of some of the artist's classic tracks. This disc also features a touching spoken word poem from Michael Jackson entitled "Planet Earth" that has never been heard before.

The package includes a 36-page, commemorative booklet featuring exclusive photos of Michael from his last rehearsal along with an 11x17 movie poster printed in support of the film launch.

I am enjoying the CD: Rating: 5/5
Like many others I am enjoying the CD and can't believe MJ is truly gone from us. At least we can hear him and keep him alive in our hearts. I also did not receive the poster. This seems to be a hit or miss depending on the vendor

Nice collection but...: Rating: 3/5
A nice collection of MJ's hits but it would've been better if the people putting the soundtrack together had used rare live versions of the songs from different concerts instead.

'This is it' is a beautiful song, Michael's vocals really shine on this song. The first version is sort of like a demo (to me), the orchestra on the second version is beautiful... can't stop laying both :)

Seonc disk... the demos were interesting, 'specially 'Beat it'. Hearing Michael work out the beat before all the vocals was awesome! 'Wanna Be Startin Something' demo shows how Michael worked out the kinks to the polished version (though you gotta wonder why these weren't included on either of the 'Thriller' special editions when they were released).

I loved hearing MJ speak on the 'Planet Earth' poem, his speaking voice was as beautiful as his singing voice :).

More should've been put on the second disc as well, but it is worth buying just for 'this is it' and the second disk contents alone.

Fantastic Music: Rating: 5/5
This was better than expected. Arrived ahead of schedule and in perfect condition. Very happy with purchase. Wish I had ordered a couple of them at the same time.

This CD / Book is fabulous!: Rating: 5/5
This Collector's Edition of This Is It is really beautifully put together. But...you probably own 90% of what is on the CD. There is very little new music. A lot of old, remastered. All great hits of coarse. But this will overlap with any fan's collection. If you own History, you will have it all. The only new piece is This Is It. And it's a beauty.I love the CD. Above is just an FYI. The photos in the book are really nice. This is a beautiful Collector's item.

Loved it!: Rating: 5/5
Although it arrived a little later than I had anticipated, it arrived in very good condition and there were no problems with the CDs. I loved the entire package.
