Bay leaf sauce


Bay Leaf Sauce

Use as a sauce for chicken or ham.

3/4 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons flour
Juice of 1 lemon
6 bay leaves
1 cup water

Combine ingredients and cook slowly for 15 minutes. Strain.

Makes 1 1/2 cups.
