Fourth of July Bang-Up Dessert1 can fruit pie filling 1 small box cake mix 1/2 cup butter, melted 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional) 1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Generously grease sides and bottom of an 8-inch square baking pan. Pour pie filling into pan; spread evenly. Sprinkle dry cake mix evenly over fruit filling. Drizzle butter over top. Bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Serve hot. Serve topped with whipped cream or ice cream, if desired.
