Burnt Round Steak


Burnt Round Steak

1 large round steak, cut into
    1/2-inch wide strips
1/4 cup Karo® syrup
1/4 cup vinegar
2 tablespoons water
1/4 teaspoon Tabasco® sauce
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 cup Burgundy wine
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 cup vegetable oil

Mix all ingredients in a glass bowl and marinate meat for at least 1 hour.

Put meat on campfire forks or on grill and cook over glowing coals until done as desired.

This is good with fry bread.
