Fried Grits Patties1/3 cup grits 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/8 teaspoon pepper 1 large egg 2 cups vegetable oil Paper towels Prepare grits according to the package directions. Stir in flour, salt, pepper and egg; mix well. In a skillet, Drop tablespoonsful into hot oil, then flatten slightly with a spatula, and brown on both sides. Drain on paper towels. Makes 4 servings.
